I have just bought the C0-01DD1-D Click PLC (sinking) I have written a very basic program to turn on an output Y1. There is a small red light next to the output. I would like to power a small 24v relay from this output. Using my multimeter I cant see any voltage output anywhere. Am I being stupid? Do I need to put my own 24v supply to V+ and 0 to common? I presumed there would be 24v at V+ already. Thanks for your help!

Yes
Follow the diagram on page 2-28 and 2-29 of the manual.
If you have a single 24VDC supply connect the + side to 'V+ ' and to the '+ ' side of your load (your red light). Connect the - side of your power supply to 'C3 '. Finally connect 'Y1 ' to the '- ' side of your load.
