Hello Everyone, I have a Click PLC which I want to use for data logging. Can you guys give me any suggestions on how to achieve that with a minimum expense. So far I have found out the following options. 1. Use OPC server to get data to a excel. 2. Use a C-more HMI to get the data. 3. Use Automation direct's data logger program to get the data. Is there a way to use the click software as a OPC server to get data into excel using DDE? If not, what other low cost options do I have? Thanks Maqsud

You could write your own modbus implementation to read the data.
The modbus addresses can be viewed in the Address Picker with the 'display Modbus Address ' box checked.

If you 're considering that approach, you might find something useful in this thread: http://forum.automationdirect.com/showthread.php?t=13494 .
