I 've tried everything the manual said regarding this issue from trying all different IPs, to separating ground wires. I 've taken other cards off of the PLC's rack to make sure there's no interference there as well. I'm at a loss as to what this communication issue is. I have downloaded a full visual to the HMI, and downloaded a full program to the PLC. I have a Productivity 2000 with a P2 550 CPU, and an EA3 T10 HMI(has ECOM module), ethernet connected through a 4 channel switch. No issues in power. Let me know if you have any advice! Thanks so much in advance.

0002 indicates that the C-More can't read a specific tag from the P2K. This could be because you deleted a tag from the P2K program that the HMI is still trying to reference or that you changed the tag name.

Re-save your P2K program, then re-import the tag database in the C-More Micro program (File> Import> Tag name database). Make sure you check "Overwrite existing tags ". That will re-sync your tags in the event that you changed the tag name in the P2K program. Transfer the new C-More program to the panel. If that doesn't fix it, then you need to go through every object in the panel and make sure there is an exact matching tag in the P2K program, along with making sure that the System ID matches the tag between the two as well. If you 're directly reading any of the discrete inputs or outputs on the P2K in the HMI, put the cards back in the rack. If the input or output physically isn't there to read, then it will also produce a 0002 error.

If you had a comm issue, you would be getting code 0001. Your network is fine. Something with your tags is off.

I'm getting the same error and I'm sure I did no changes to the tags. I would appreciate if someone can post more suggestions on how to fix this.

can you post your PxK and CMore projects? -- or just the tag databases from each?

I recently had the same error message, tried all of the above steps--reprogrammed the CPU, HMI, updated firmware, no use.

I finally installed a new CPU and the problem went away.
