PLCNut (Customer) asked a question.
Looking for Terminal Block Storage Solutions.
What do you guys use for storing terminal blocks and the plethora of related items for easy access?
I have a service van and have been storing them in their original cardboard, but have to start doing something different.
Systainers?
Milwaukee Packout?
Cheap Harbor Freight boxes?
Other?
Thanks for any suggestions.
I do not do any remote servicing, so all of mine are in a cabinet that supports (ULINE) plastic bins.
Like the small blue bins in the (sorting) video on your site-except mine are yellow.
so no help there.
And, HI, J!
I store all terminal block parts in a drawer of a dresser that once belonged to my older daughter. I placed it on casters, and mounted a back panel to store my cordless tools and DIN rail.
I dont do outside service so all mine stay in their original box, with all the different types we stock next to each other. These all go on a single shelf in one of the storage cabinets for PLC stuff.
We have 5 service vans we installed Adrian steel storage system with a bulkhead door. They work well for us. It has drawers with dividers and plastic open top storage boxes. We use the ford mid top transit's and it works great. Of course you never have enough storage... Before we got these I went to Walmart and bought plastic boxes with lids labled them and made a rack to store them with a bungie cord to keep them from being flying head knockers. The new system work so much better.
